According to FICE (www.ficeinter.net) there are about 80,000 children and young people in Ukraine who are not growing up with their parents. Approximately 10,000 are living in large socio-educational family homes, 7,000 in 3119 foster families, 60,000 are located in boarding schools, and approx 3,000 in homes for children of 0-3 years old. We can only imagine the dilemmas that the adults and children in these services face during this time, and we send our thoughts, support and solidarity to the people of Ukraine.
