In this short article, we will explore the centrality of sensitive recognition as part of this process and why it is so important for people of every age. We all like to be recognised for who we are and what we bring. Recognition makes us visible and fulfils our human desire to be seen, acknowledged, valued and remembered. At Ready Generations we have been thinking about recognition in relation to the concept of multi-generational care, caring spaces and wider communities of care.
