Safe System Transitions

The Residential Forum has been requested to help share a research opportunity. The study is called Safe System Transitions (SafeST) and the researchers are looking to speak to one person per care home. This can be either a home manager, deputy manager, owner or nurse within a care home that has some responsibility for risk management. It is an England only study and open to both residential and nursing homes. The participants will be asked to take part in one 30 minute interview via phone or Teams. During the interview the researchers will discuss safety incident reporting policy, technologies used in reporting incidents, and types of data captured within incident reports. Participants will recieve a £30 voucher and a certificate to evidence participation.
