This case study looks at two contrasting examples of accommodation for older people in the Netherlands, comparing the successful care of dementia, as exemplified by De Hogeweyk, a ‘Dementia Village’, with accommodation for independent living with integrated care as exemplified by the award winning Pelgromhof project.
