Housing and Learning Disability: Transforming care and support

The Housing LIN is committed to supporting our members, commissioners
and providers improve the independent living choices of people with
learning disabilities. We have been working with NHS England to support
TCPs develop their housing partnerships to increase supply. For more

There are an estimated 930,000 adults with a learning disability in
England, 129,000 of whom receive local authority social care support.
These pages provide resources, references, tools and outline good
practice to ensure that people with learning disabilities and autism
have increased choices and quality of where they live. They are
segmented into key themes to enable you to navigate around the topics
and access relevant resources more easily.
