Scottish regulator publishes guide to self-evaluation

This supports the new quality framework for care home inspections
and aims to help care homes to identify what’s working well and what could work
better with reference to the new care home quality indicators.

The Care Inspectorate says that care homes can decide for
themselves how often and what to self-evaluate. This may include the performance
of a team, a particular process, or the experiences evidenced from comments and
complaints received.
